Over the past 5 years, B.E.S.T. has granted over $112,000 to Spofford Pond and Cole schools for curriculum enrichment. Our goal moving forward is to help infuse technology in Boxford’s elementary schools to allow for creative and efficient approaches to curriculum and to encourage innovation and collaboration among and across grade-level teams.  We call this initiative Touched by Technology. 

In 2006, we successfully completed Phase I of Touched by Technology by granting $40,000 to provide laptop computers for all grade 2 teachers at Cole School and all grade 3 teachers at Spofford Pond School.  We also provided the funding for two SMART Boards™ and related technology per school.
